Question #12:

Making Changes to Paula Dean's Grilled Pizza?

So I watched a show on Food Network about grilling pizza. It was with Paula Dean. I understand how to do the crust and everything but she just puts like arugula, tomatoes, capers, mozzarella cheese, etc.; no sauce. I like the idea of grilling pizza and making my own out of it. The question I have is this: When I put my crust on the grill, what is the temperature? Does it need to be low? And also how long does it take to cook? I mean she says, "Okay a few more minutes and we are ready to eat!" or something to that effect but I have no idea how long altogether. Also I was wondering is it okay to put like a pizza sauce also? Say I was making a pepperoni pizza. Can I just slather some sauce on there and then layer some cheese and pepperoni's on it?
Thanks for any help.
P.S. What would be a good side for this?

Question #13:

Food Network question (Easy Entertaining w/Michael Chiarello)?

On recent episodes of "Easy Entertaining with Michael Chiarello" we see an odd shaped pan and cover on his stove. The pan is round and the lid is a high, cone shaped affair. He talked about it once and cooked something (but I've forgotten what so I can't search for it by recipe) in it. I'd like to know what it's called and who makes it. I've searched on the foodnetwork website and just don't recall the episode nor recipe, and can find no reference to that pan. Thanks to all who answer.

Question #14:

How can you become a mystery client on Food Network Challenge?

Me and my little brother share our birthday. We're five years apart, I'm turning 15 and he's turning 10 in August. We love to watch Food Network Challenge and find the designs on the show very interesting and cool. It would be the best birthday present ever to us if we could be a mystery client on this show. So, is there any way to get on Food Network Challenge for our birthday??

Question #15:

What are the worst cakes that have ever been done on Food Network Challenge?

Recently I watched the episode when Kerry Vincent was the mystery client and one of the chefs (Stevie?, I think that's her name) made an extremely nasty looking cake. She was one of the worst cake artists I've ever seen on this show. Her kitchen was a mess, her cake was disgusting, she put strawberries on top for the height, and she puts flammable liquid on it and sets it on fire! So, that made me wonder if there was anymore cake artists like that on Food Network Challenge.

Question #16:

Is this true? Welcome to BarryWorld?

Anyone as puzzled as I was about all the media hype on our new Administration, or notice the media does not ask our new Administration any challenging questions? There's been a great deal of censorship in the news, and on the Internet, it forums and newspapers in the past few months, and we are losing our freedom of speech quickly. Is this why all the deaths at Disneyland and Disney World don't get reported?

Walt Disney Productions is one of Obama's largest money contributors - the donations below do not include the contributions by the companies owned by Disney. And take a look below to see what media Disney owns:

Walt Disney Productions owns the media companies below. Any wonder you cannot believe anything you read anymore? Think twice before buying anything "Disney" - because that's who's running this Country now. And we wonder why the theme park continues to flourish with so many children's deaths that don't even shut down a ride for a day? - the majority not being reported. And this is who is now stifling our ability to speak out as well.

Question #17:

Using the white part of the green onions to make more green parts?

So, I was wondering, I'm watching the food Network and the Next Food Network Star, One of the 'saving money' tips was to use the white part of a green onion in a glass of water to make more of the green part, does this work? Thanks!
I'm not sure, but it was on the show, and I was just curious to see if it would work.

Question #18:

Wouldn't it be high-larious...?

Question #20:

Are you an interesting Y!A contact?

I feel as though I've lost touch with most of the contacts I have had in the past, the ones who would ask interesting questions and provide thoughtful answers, and offer food for thought throughout the day.

I mainly post in Philosophy and B&A

I'm looking for new contacts, if you care to share a brief "philosophy of self" or anything else interesting here. Just looking to expand my Y!A network!
